Snow Days
It just keeps snowing… although we don’t get much accumulation and it goes away pretty quickly. The other morning I wanted to take Alyssa outside and get some new pics of her in the snow while we had a little bit on the ground. She was excited about it until she got outside, fell down and got her hands and knees wet. But after a few tears and some coaxing by mom, she finally settled down so I could take a couple. Here’s what we got…

With all of that being said, what does it mean for you?
A lot of money is spent on this very important day in your life. Most of your budget is spent on fleeting things such as location, flowers, cake, food, drinks, etc. The only way to hold onto all of these is to capture it in photographs. The images serve to document and preserve all of the delicate details and memorable moments for years to come. So, while planning your wedding day, think about your priorities and the lasting memories that you will have and choose your vendors wisely. Form the caterer, to the wedding planner, to the photographer, you should feel comfortable with all of the people you work with and feel confident that they will make your wedding day the best day ever! : )
For The Love of a Mother
I am always inspired by families who have close relation ships with each other. Knowing that you are loved and your family is on your side can be incredibly empowering. So I loved shooting a session for brother & sister duo Tyler & Courtney back in the fall. They schedule the session on their own as a surprise Christmas gift for their mom. And it was so funny the day of the session when Courtney’s mom was a little disappointed that she had run off with her brother when her mom was looking forward to a girl’s day out shopping. But we knew it would all be worth it and she would LOVE her gift. (And of course… she did!)
