The summer has flown by! We had lots of great weddings this summer as well as portrait sessions and I look forward to blogging some pics from each of them soon! We also had a great time with our booth at the Jack & Jules Consignment Sale and met lots of wonderful people.
I just wanted to thank each of you for being patient over the last few weeks while I was out of the office. I took a few planned days off to spend time with my little one before she went off to 2nd grade and then there were 4 days of the consignment sale which led to the first day of school and I was super excited to get back to work on all sorts of projects here in the office. However… that lasted for one whole day and I got sick and on top of that my husband had surgery last week, so the week was a wash.
But TODAY, I am here… editing, returning calls and e-mails, shipping and lots of other tasks. It is going to take a few days for me to catch up! I greatly appreciate all of my clients and all of your patience!
So I have only downloaded the first card from last night, but I wanted to tease you with one image from Brandy & Ryan’s session from last night. We had a great time and I can’t wait to dig in to all of them and share them with you!

Last week I had the opportunity to spend sometime with Brian & Alison in one of their favorites places to hang out… Downtown Knoxville. We had a really nice time together and I am looking forward to their wedding, which is coming up soon!
Alison & Brian - You guys are super sweet and I really am looking forward to a great wedding day with you guys!
We had a wonderful week on vacation spending time with our family in Florida. One of the highlights of our vacation was spending Easter morning on the beach watching the sunrise and sharing with our daughter what Easter is all about. I really can’t think of a better way to celebrate.
Since there are so many fees to pay these days when you fly, we try to keep our baggage to a minimum, so I only took my point & shoot camera with me, but look how gorgeous this picture of the sunrise is!
But for now it’s back to work… and a lot of it! If you have recently sent an e-mail or left a voice mail message, I am working through those and trying to return them all as quickly as possible.

It just keeps snowing… although we don’t get much accumulation and it goes away pretty quickly. The other morning I wanted to take Alyssa outside and get some new pics of her in the snow while we had a little bit on the ground. She was excited about it until she got outside, fell down and got her hands and knees wet. But after a few tears and some coaxing by mom, she finally settled down so I could take a couple. Here’s what we got…
